Summary
Phishing mails and social engineering attacks are causing significant damage to businesses, and the attacks are only getting worse. As these attacks become more sophisticated, we will continue to fall prey to attackers as our technical countermeasure cannot keep up. In fact, to effectively defend against these attacks, you need to understand how they work, including the psychological triggers and tricks that attackers exploit.
In this webinar, we will deliver a presentation by James, who are one of the security awareness advocates at KnowBe4, a cybersecurity awareness training platform, with Japanese subtitles. He will discuss how social engineering, a type of cyber-attack, makes us victims of phishing mails, why people do not recognize phishing mails and how to fix this vulnerability, and introduce why improving user cyber hygiene is important for organizations with some American jokes.
