Summary
The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) has been amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) since January 1, 2023. On July 1, 2023, enforcement of the CCPA amendments will begin. In addition, the new amendments to the CCPA that went in to effect on March 29, 2023 will also be enforced starting on July 1, 2023.
In this webinar, we will focus on important practical points over both legal and IT responses to the revisions to the CCPA and the new regulations, so that subsidiaries to Japanese companies in the United States can utilize them. We will separate our session into two parts. We will also introduce trends in privacy protection laws in other states and federal laws.
