Summary
Log management is a very important security measure.
In the event of cyber-attacks or system failure, logs can be used to identify the cause and other after-the-fact investigations. Logs can be analyzed and utilized to notice signs of failure and to prevent security incidents before they occur. However, if you manage logs on your own, you need to consider the cost of tools, how to develop the environment, and further operations. In addition, corporate security policies and guidelines may specify a log storage period. As a result of increased subscription usage, such as cloud services, it has become very complicated for admins to manage logs centrally.
In this webinar, we will discuss the importance of log management, the difficulties and challenges of managing logs in-house, and how to start log management. We will also introduce the concept and utilize the newly released IIJA Log Management Service.
